Professional Development Awards The Institute launched one new award for Pastry Chefs and two awards for aspiring Sommeliers in 2006, which represent a new direction in its awards program. The awards will be offered not to students but to men and women already employed in the foodservice and hospitality industry, who want to reach for the top through further education and training.
